


Raphael Blake | Founder of Blake Media Online
Raphael Blake is a multimedia and marketing expert hailing from South London now residing in Nottingham. He's a former student of The Brit School (Alumni including Adele, Amy Winehouse and Jessie J.) where he studied Visual Art & Design before kickstarting his marketing career at Sony Music Entertainment working on campaigns from the likes of Usher, Alicia Keys and Pink.
Blake embarked upon his freelance Social Media Management journey in 2010 leading social media strategies for Live Magazine, fuelling its organic growth, reaching 45k copies per quarter. While managing an array of high profile client campaigns at The Big Agency (Distrupt) including Converse, BBC 6 and GRM Daily, and is one of the great marketing minds behind the launch of many successful enterprises including Mixlr, Radio King, and artist Cleo Sol achieving milestones including Cleo Sol's signing to Universal Music Records.
Launching his first Content Creation Agency in 2016 at Rough Trade before over 400 attendees, Blake went onto direct, film and edit productions at YouTube's HQ, for Dreezy, Universal Music Recording Artist, Misha B, X Factor Semi Finalist and creating websites for high profile Government Ministers.
Applying his marketing expertise to his love of poetry, Blake found his own poems wrapped in sound and self-created visual creations winning the support of various BBC radio stations including 1Xtra, Nottingham and Derby plus securing international online press coverage spanning the globe from Atlanta to South Africa, Germany to Ghana.
Blake Media Online launched in 2020 encompassing all the valuable experience gained over the span of his then 11 year career in marketing and content creation. Upskilled in Pay Per Click advertising specialising in Google's platform across Search and YouTube ads, Blake went on to transform client campaigns, taking Fasttrack Life, an education and training company from 4 leads per day to 40+ qualified leads daily and £30K+ p/m in sales within 6 months.
Now, Blake is pushing the boundaries once again — expanding into 3D animation, CGI, virtual production, and VJ concert visuals using Unreal Engine. This real-time engine has powered some of the most iconic visual experiences of our time, including The Mandalorian, The Batman, The Matrix Awakens, Fortnite, and Travis Scott’s Astronomical concert inside the metaverse.
With this next chapter, Blake is fusing creative storytelling with cutting-edge technology to shape immersive visuals for artists, brands, and live audiences — continuing his mission to stay at the forefront of digital expression.
